I originally drew a couple of my friends for whom my house was a club where they could always show up to play music, read books, drink wine, and talk nonsense. Just for fun I thought I would change their faces and make it look as if John and Paul showed up to do all the above in my house instead, looking the way they did in the early 1960s. Everything else is realistic, including their slippers, the wine bottle on the piano, and the ashtray on the floor that looked like a flying saucer. The good old college days in the late 1970s…
